Every puppy from Poodle-Doodles Standard goes home with a written health guarantee, because we stand behind the care, screening, and love that go into each litter. Here's exactly what's covered and what we ask of you in return.
What's included before your puppy comes home
Every puppy leaves our home having been raised indoors with daily handling, socialization with people and other dogs, and a full course of age-appropriate dewormings and vaccinations. You'll receive a complete health record to hand your veterinarian.
Each puppy is examined by a licensed veterinarian before going home, and we send you home with that exam paperwork, vaccine and deworming records, and a starter bag of the food your puppy has been eating.

What the guarantee covers
Your puppy is covered for serious genetic or congenital conditions that materially affect its quality of life. If your puppy is diagnosed with a qualifying life-threatening genetic condition within 24 months of purchase, we will discuss the appropriate remedy with you — replacement from an available or upcoming litter, or a partial or full refund of the purchase price.
Claims must be supported by written documentation from a licensed veterinarian. We ask for the opportunity to review records and, where appropriate, speak with your veterinarian directly before remedies are decided.

What the guarantee doesn't cover
The guarantee does not cover treatable, common puppy issues such as parasites, kennel cough, or other easily curable infections — though we will always help you work through them. It also doesn't cover conditions caused by neglect, injury, or nutrition after your puppy comes home, and it does not cover hip dysplasia or patella issues arising in overweight dogs.

What we ask of you
Have your puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of arriving home and send us the results. Keep up with the vaccination schedule your veterinarian recommends, feed a quality puppy food, and keep your puppy at a healthy weight. Pet homes agree to spay or neuter on their veterinarian's recommended timeline.
